1940s brown and silver horizontal banded jacquard dress with velvet cuffs, collar, and full velvet button front. Beautiful tailored silhouette with a beautiful draped skirt. 
The cuffs have a folded back angular design.
The collar is square cut. 
The dress is unlined. 
In great condition with minimal signs of wear, the very bottom velvet button is missing. A small pull on the right shoulder. The inside hem has come loose in some areas but it still structurally sound.
